Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 27, 2026

Garage Door Masters (“Garage Door Masters,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you visit sagaragedoormasters.com, request an estimate, contact us, call us, or use a website feature such as the garage-door design tool.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide. We may collect your name, phone number, email address, service address, message, requested garage-door service, appointment or estimate details, and other information you choose to provide.

Calls and communications. When you call, email, or message us, we may retain the communication. Telephone and advertising providers may generate call details such as caller number, time, duration, routing, and campaign source.

Website and device information. We and our providers may receive your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, approximate location, referring page, pages visited, visit times, interactions, security signals, and cookie or similar identifiers.

Advertising and referral information. We may collect campaign and ad-click identifiers to understand how a service request reached us and measure advertising results.

Design-tool information. If you use the Garaga garage-door design tool, Garaga may process your design selections and any photo or information you choose to submit through that tool.

Our forms are not designed to collect Social Security numbers, government identification, financial-account information, health information, biometric data, or precise GPS location. Please do not include sensitive information in a message.

2. How We Use Information

  • To answer questions, prepare estimates, schedule appointments, and provide garage-door services.
  • To contact you about scheduling, estimates, or project updates.
  • To maintain service, warranty, and business records.
  • To operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website.
  • To detect spam, bots, fraud, malicious traffic, and invalid advertising clicks.
  • To measure calls, forms, referrals, website use, and advertising performance.
  • To comply with law and protect people, property, and legal rights.

Submitting a service request permits us to respond about that request. It is not blanket consent to unrelated marketing.

3. When We Disclose Information

We disclose information only as reasonably needed for these purposes:

  • Service personnel. Employees, technicians, installers, and contractors may receive the contact, location, and project information needed for your service.
  • Business providers. Hosting, backup, email, telephone, website, analytics, advertising, and security providers may process information for us.
  • Security providers. Cloudflare, including Turnstile, processes browser and security signals. CleanTalk may process IP address, interaction data, visited URLs, and form content to detect spam and abuse.
  • Analytics and embedded services. Google Analytics, Google Ads, and ClickCease process website, advertising, and conversion information. Review widgets, Garaga, BBB, Garage Door Handbook, and similar content may receive browser-request information when they load. Information entered in Garaga’s tool is subject to Garaga’s privacy policy.
  • Legal and business purposes. We may disclose information to advisers, insurers, authorities, or a business successor when necessary to comply with law, protect rights or safety, or address a dispute.

4. Advertising and Sale Disclosure

We do not sell personal data for money or knowingly sell sensitive or biometric data. Google Analytics, Google Ads, and related technologies may use cookies, device identifiers, ad-click information, browsing activity, and conversion events for analytics, attribution, call and conversion measurement, and advertising performance. Some laws may treat advertising disclosures as “targeted advertising,” “sharing,” or a “sale,” even when no money is exchanged.

When a form conversion is recorded, an email address or phone number you provide may be normalized and one-way hashed before being sent to Google for enhanced-conversion measurement. Google may also measure call-link interactions and calls through advertising numbers. See Google’s enhanced-conversions explanation.

To request an opt-out from targeted advertising or a qualifying sale, email [email protected] with “Privacy Request” in the subject line or call (210) 399-1709. You may also use My Ad Center or the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. We do not use website data for decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects.

5. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies, local storage, pixels, tags, and similar technologies for website operation, security, spam prevention, referral attribution, analytics, advertising measurement, and embedded features. For example, local storage may retain the source of your visit so it can be included with an estimate request, while analytics and advertising cookies distinguish browsers and sessions.

You can delete or block cookies through your browser and limit some advertising through provider controls. Blocking essential or security technologies may prevent forms, anti-bot checks, or other website features from working correctly.

6. Retention and Security

We keep information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose collected, including providing service, maintaining customer, estimate, warranty, tax, accounting, security, and dispute records, and meeting legal obligations. Retention periods vary by record and provider. Information may remain for a limited period in protected backups or when preservation is legally required.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the information we maintain. No website, network, transmission, or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Privacy Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to confirm processing; access, correct, delete, or receive a portable copy of your data; opt out of targeted advertising, a qualifying sale, or qualifying profiling; use an authorized agent; and receive equal service without unlawful discrimination.

Email [email protected] with “Privacy Request” in the subject line or call (210) 399-1709. State the right requested and provide enough information to identify the records. We may verify your identity or an agent’s authority and may retain information when an exception applies.

If we deny a request, appeal by replying with “Privacy Appeal” in the subject line or by calling us. Explain why the decision should be reconsidered. We will respond as required by law.

8. Children’s Privacy

This website and our garage-door services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from a child under 13. A parent or guardian who believes a child submitted information may contact us to request its deletion.

9. External Sites and Data Locations

Our website links to and embeds services operated by other companies. Their privacy policies govern information they collect for their own purposes. Providers may process information outside Texas or the United States, where privacy laws may differ.

10. Changes and Contact

We may update this Policy when our practices, providers, or legal obligations change. The revised Policy will be posted here with a new effective date, with additional notice when appropriate for a material change.

For privacy questions, requests, or complaints, contact Garage Door Masters in San Antonio, Texas by phone at (210) 399-1709 or by email at [email protected].
